Salinas city council member Steve Mcshane is tossing his hat in the ring for Monterey county supervisor district four.
The supervisor seat now held by Jane Parker will be vacant in 20-20 and covers a large swath… including Seaside, Sand City, Marina, Southwest Salinas and the former Fort Ord.
In fact, Mcshane says he’s making the re-use of the former Fort Ord the cornerstone of his campaign.
