Law enforcement agencies are partnering to create a major crimes unit for south Monterey County. The King City and Greenfield Police Departments are collaborating on major crimes. Last week both agencies agreed to combine resources to fight south county crime. The Major Crime division features two detectives and investigators from both cities. The unit is currently operating out of Greenfield.
