Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspected meth dealer during a traffic stop. A deputy patrolling Soquel Drive stopped a speeding vehicle with expired tags.. The driver, Michael Rodgers, was driving on a suspended license and was arrested. Deputies searched the truck and found o05 grams of methamphetamine and 15 hundred dollars in cash. Rodgers, who was out custody on bail, was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail for transportation for sales and driving on a suspended license. His bail was raised to 250 thousand dollars.
