Pacific Grove police said a shelter in place order issued in has been lifted. This involves the area between Lighthouse Avenue, 12th Street, 9th Street, and Central Avenue where residents were asked to shelter in place.
The situation in the area has been resolved peacefully, according to police, and streets are reopening as of 5:45 PM today.
Police are still investigating, so they are still asking people to avoid the area.
