A man convicted of sexually molesting a young girl (starting when she was just 5 years-old) has been sentenced to spend 15 years behind bars. 45 year-old Jose Alberto Tamayo pleaded guilty to continuous sexual acts with a child under the age of 14. He has been ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, and a restraining order was granted prohibiting Tamayo from contacting his victim for ten years (which is the maximum term under law).
