(18:47) APTOS- Motorists are being advised to avoid Freedom Boulevard in the Aptos area. The CHP is reporting that a tree went down knocking out power lines and blocking the roadway at MacDonald Road. The road is expected to be closed possibly all-night while crews clear the roadway and restore power to an estimated 3 thousand customers in the Aptos- Coralittos area. Bus routes have also been effected.
