(12:00) Santa Cruz – Roadway construction on East Cliff Drive began yesterday. The $4.7 million dollar improvement project is located at Twin Lakes Beach between 5th and 7th Avenues. The goal is to realign the street, add bicycle lanes, sidewalks, and add parking spaces so cars no longer have to park in the sand. The construction is expected to be completed by summer of 2017.
