(09:11) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz county supervisors are expected to consider a contract to provide medical services to its inmates. According to the proposed 3.6 million dollar contract, a physician would be on-site for at least 15 hours per week, while a full-time nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant and nurses will be on-hand to provide other services. A dental hygienist is also scheduled to provide a minimum 8 hours a month of dental care.
