A pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision in Seaside on Saturday. Authorities say that at about 6:30 p.m. two adult pedestrians were struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of Hillsdale Street and Broadway Avenue. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene the other has been hospitalized in critical condition. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have a role in the incident.
