No major injuries were reported following a five car pile-up on southbound Highway 1 yesterday. CHP officials say the accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at the main street on-ramp. The exit remained closed until 6 p.m. as vehicles were cleared from the roadway. The cause of the accident has not been released, but weather is thought to be a factor.
