(SANTA CRUZ) 18:37-The Santa Cruz Police Department is urging residents to prepare for flooding. The department issued a nixle alert yesterday (Thurs) afternoon warning Community members in the Beach Flats, the Tannery, Paradise Park, areas near the San Lorenzo River Levee, and in other flood-prone areas are advised to ready to move persons, pets and automobiles to higher ground. The watch remains in effect through this (Friday) morning.
