Authorities are warning residents about multiple mountain lion sightings on the westside of Santa Cruz. The sightings started on Tuesday with a report of a puma on Los Ondas Court. Another cougar sighting happened on Thursday near Escalona Drive and Franklin Street. On Friday, two lions were spotted near UCSC’s Barn Theater. It is believed that four different cougars are active in the area. Residents are advised to keep children and pets in safe surroundings.
