Santa Cruz Mayor David Terrazas is one of several who Tuesday signed the ballot argument against the rent control and eviction measure that goes before Santa Cruz city voters on Nov. 6th.
Signing with Terrazas were Neal Coonerty, owner of Bookshop Santa Cruz and a former Santa Cruz mayor, Keshav Kumar, a renter and vice president of internal affairs for the UC Santa Cruz Student Union Assembly, Pamela Comstock, former council member, and Andy Hartmann, president of the Monterey/Santa Cruz Building & Construction Trades Council.
Terrazas’ position was already well-known. More than a month ago he published an op-ed opposing Measure M in the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
