S.C. JOINS FORCES W/MEXICAN GOV’T. 06-30-10 10:15 a.v.

A new partnership between the Mexican Government and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, will now allow missing individuals, or those who have died in the county, to be tracked down.   In a new “first of it’s kind” cooperation, investigators are expected to combine detective and forensic work in both countries to help identify people from Mexico and Central and South America who have died in Santa Cruz County, along with being able to track down people from the U.S. who have gone missing south of the border.   Investigators hope the new agreement will also help solve old cases as well.
