Santa Cruz City Council members are expected to consider a proposed vacation rental moratorium when they meet this afternoon. That’s in response to an increase from displaced renters. If approved, the moratorium would initially be for 45 days, but could be extended to 22 months. The 2:30 meeting is slated to take place in council chambers at 809 Center Street.
