The cause of this morning’s 7 acre Grade Fire in Santa Cruz county is still being investigated. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze near China Grade Road this afternoon. This wildfire was within the footprint of last summer’s CZU Lightning Complex Fires.
One firefighter suffered an ankle injury while fighting this fire.
