As part of a cost saving measure, Santa Cruz city offices will be closed until January 3rd. The lobby of the Santa Cruz Police Department will be closed through January 4th. Garbage and recycling services will operate at their normal schedule, meanwhile holiday trees will be picked up between January 3rd and the 7th on regular recycling pick up days. All library branches will be closed through Saturday and again December 30th through January 1st. The Superior Court Clerk’s offices at 701 Ocean Street will be open next Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m..
