A 19-year old Salinas man was taken into custody over the weekend for vandalizing a police car. Police arrested 19-year old Gabriel Ramos Saturday night after he punched the passenger door window of the car, which was in the parking lot of the Salinas Police Department Eastside Substation off South Sanborn Road. The officer, who saw Ramos commit the crime, arrested after him for vandalism and probation violation. Ramos was on probation for a prior misdemeanor conviction.
