Salinas Police are investigating a shooting that took place on the 900 block of Rider Avenue early today. KION television reports that police have blocked off Rider Avenue near Holly Street and Elm Drive and Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies also on scene. No confirmation of injuries or fatalities in this shooting.
