The Salinas Police Department has released new video of a hostage situation that took place in the department’s lobby last week. On Wednesday afternoon, 22 year old Mariel Capulong used a cleaver to take another woman hostage. Officers subdued Capulong with a taser. The victim was unijured in the incident.
