The chief of police for Salinas has announced that she is retiring. Adele Frese was the chief of police for the city of Greenfield before she took the helm at the Salinas Police Department. Chief Frese says she has accomplished nearly everything she promised to do in Salinas….including bringing more bilingual officers and women to the force….as well as Community Policing.
