Salinas Man Shot, Won’t Help Police 12-10-18 05:50 DC

Salinas Police say a man injured in a Saturday night shooting is not cooperating with investigators.

Police said their ShotSpotter gunfire location system activated in the area of Granada and Tampico Avenue where arriving officers found multiple shell casings, but no victim.

About a half-hour later, a woman living in the 1200 block of Granada Avenue called Salinas officers to tell them that her son had a gunshot wound.

The 29-year old victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
