authorities in salinas are looking a suspect involved in a hit and run last night. a 60 year old woman was in a crosswalk on salinas street just after 11 p.m. when she was struck by a pickup truck. she was airlifted to a bay area hospital to be treated for injuries. the suspect vehicle is described as a white extended cab pickup, possibly a chevy, with a business emblem on the door. anyone with any information on the driver of this vehicle is asked to contact the salinas police department.
