15:57 SALINAS-Salinas Animal Services has a big goal for December—-to get every adoptable pet in a home with a family. To achieve this goal, they have reduced adoption fees through December 31. For cats and kittens, the new fee is $50 and all dogs and puppy adoption fees are $75. Fees includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, rabies vaccination and annual vaccinations. Owners will also receive a “new adopter packet” with helpful cat and dog owner information. A Salinas City dog license costs an additional $18. To adopt a pet, visit Salinas Animal Services, located at 144 Hitchcock Road in Salinas.
