(09:20) Santa Cruz County – The Capitola Police Department announced that on New Year’s Eve volunteers will be providing a free shuttle service to any person who feels impaired by alcohol. The shuttle will be available between the areas of Capitola, Live Oak, Soquel, and Seacliff. The Following restrictions apply: Caller must be within the City of Capitola wanting to go home within the area between Capitola, Live Oak, Soquel and Seacliff. The shuttle will give rides home for the evening between 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Rides will not be given to another celebration location. For a free ride home on December 31st call: 831-475-4244
