The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office Gang Enforcement Team arrested a 34-year-old Santa Cruz resident Tuesday morning on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition. David Gomez was in a Santa Cruz hotel room on the 100 block of Ocean Street when deputies served the warrant. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail and his bail was set at $25,000.
