The Monterey County SPCA raised it’s reward from $1,000 to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the unlicensed veterinarian, Damian Maldonado. Maldonado first caught the attention of humane society officers on January 21st when 4 pit bull puppies from Soledad were surrendered to the SPCA after the puppies had infections on their ears from a botched procedure.
