SAN BENITO COUNTY – A convicted rapist, who was hoping for a re-trial, won’t be getting it anytime soon. That’s because a judge has denied the re-trial for a 48 year-old former San Benito County Sheriff’s Deputy. Michael Rodrigues was convicted back in 2009 of raping 3 women while he was “on-duty”.
