Dozens of protesters surrounded the courthouse in Modesto on Wednesday afternoon. They were there making their feelings known ahead of the arraignment for accused cop-killer 33-year-old Gustavo Perez Arriago being held in the Stanislaus County Jail without bond.
He is accused in the death of Newman police Cpl. Ronil Singh.
Demonstrators were waving signs reading that read “Make California Safe Again” and “God Bless Ofc. Singh, California Failed You.”
