A group of protesters had to be removed from Highway 1 in Monterey on Saturday. A group of about 50 people holding a protest recent police injustices nationwide , blocked all 4 lanes of the freeway at the Del Monte Avenue exit from between noon at 1 p.m.. CHP and police dispersed the group. Four men and four women refused to leave and were arrested.
