(16:40) CAPITOLA- Marine biologists are waiting for the results of necropsy on a Great White Shark that died in local waters. The shark described as a juvenile adult about 8 feet long beached on the reefs at Pleasure Point late Friday afternoon. Hundreds of curious onlookers gathered as members of The Pelagic Shark Research Foundation attempted to unsuccessfully to rescue the creature. The shark washed up in Capitola on Saturday and was transported to a marine laboratory to undergo testing.
