Scotts Valley Police are warning residents of a phone scam. Officials say victims have received calls from an individual claiming to be a representative from the Department of the Treasury. The scammer has told residents to pay a certain amount or be arrested on felony charges. Officers are reminding the public to not provide personal information to such a caller.
