(15:54) PACIFIC GROVE- Pacific Grove police arrested two people during a probation compliance check on Thursaday. Shortly before noon officers conducted a probation search of a residence on the 400 block of Grand Avenue. Police seized five firearms, high capacity magazines, ammunition, approximately two grams of methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia and over twenty morphine pills. Four of the firearms were reported stolen out of Monterey. 46 year old Herbert Stevenson and 40 year old Lorien Weaver were arrested for violation of probation, being in possession of a firearm, being in possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance while armed, child endangerment, possession of high capacity magazines and possession of a controlled substance. They were booked into Monterey County jail.
