P.G. MAN RETURNS TO COURT 02-11-11 12:00 a.v.

A motion to dismiss a charge was denied yesterday for a Pacific Grove businessman, who was convicted of rape last year. An attorney for 50-year old Tom Pollacci filed a motion to dismiss one of the rape charges filed against him after he allegedly raped 2 women between 2007 and 2008. Pollacci is expected to return to court for a pretrial hearing on March 2nd. If convicted, he could face an additional 24 years in state prison. Pollacci is already serving prison time after he was sentenced in June to spend 8 years in prison for raping a woman inside of his parent’s Pacific Grove liquor store.
