Pacific Gas and Electric Company has begun preliminary work on a pipeline safety and reliability project. The project is on California and Laurel streets in the City of Santa Cruz. The project which will install new pipe is expected to continue until late October. Work locations are on California Street near the intersection of Acadia Avenue, to Laurel Street, from Laurel Street to Felix Street, as well as to the end of Felix and Neary streets. Motorists should expect minor delays Mondays through Fridays 7 a.m until 5 p.m.
