State officials have delayed the start of an increased in sales tax for Pacific Grove. That’s because they say they need more lead time to implement the increase. The half-cent increase is a result of the overwhelming approval of Pacific Grove’s Measure L (which was on the November 3rd ballot). The half-cent sales tax increase is likely to become effective in April.
