P-G and E customers get ready to dig deeper into your pockets to pay your monthly bill. P-g and e is requesting a seven-point-two increase.
The proposed increase would take affect in January 20-20. According to the executive director of the utility reform network, the estimated 12-dollar a month increase would be in addition to the 20-dollar a month “general rate case.”
According to the San Jose mercury news… if the state public utilities commission approves the latest pg& e request, a typical residential electricity customer would see an increase of 6.9 percent, or $7.84 a month, for a new electric bill total of $120.65.
