Caltrans crews have begun pouring concrete into the new deck of the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge. Since the old bridge was damaged by winter storms and had to be demolished construction has continued around the clock in an effort to meet the goal of opening the bridge to traffic in October. The project is estimated to cost 24 million dollars.
