A proposed initiative has been submitted to Pacific Grove’s city clerk. If the measure makes it onto the November 18th ballot, and is approved by voters, it could prohibit short-term rentals in Pacific Grove’s residential zones. If approved, the measure would amend the Pacific Grove General Plan And Municipal Code, which currently allows short-term rentals in residential zones (outside the Coastal Zone).
