Pacific Gas And Electric Company has emerged from its bankruptcy proceedings. Last month a federal judge approved a 58 billion dollar plan for the company to emerge from bankruptcy by June 30th so the company could qualify for coverage from a 21 billion dollar Wildfire Insurance Fund created last year. P.G. & E. Has paid 25.5 billion dollars for losses from fires in 2017 and 2018. The utility company is working on finding a new C.E.O. to replace Bill Johnson, who stepped down June 30th …..after only 14 months on the job.
