The man, who was the cooperative marketing director for Visit Santa Cruz County for 17 years, is being honored. Gary green primarily introduced destination cooperative marketing opportunities to local businesses, and also served as an ambassador for local tourism. Green, who lives in Watsonville and has been involved in the music scene here for decades, retired from V.S.S.C. the first of this month.
