the spca for monterey county is seeking volunteers to help with nearly 40 opossum babies that were rescued recently. the opossums will be released back into the wild, but the babies are still too young and require nursing. anyone who can spare some time to help care for the baby opossums should contact the spca for monterey county, at 831-373-2631.
