Old Food 10/28/19 9:50a Ci

As power restoration gets underway… you may be wondering what food is o.k. to keep if your refrigerator has been off for a couple of days.

If your food in the freezer is above 40 degrees and has ice crystals on it… it’s fine to re-freeze.

If your dairy products are not frozen and have been without refrigeration for more than two hours… best to toss them. That two hour rule without refrigeration also applies to meat, poultry and fish.
