(16:49) SANTA CRUZ- A Santa Cruz man is facing gun charges following a recent traffic stop. At about 10 p.m. Wednesday a patrol unit stopped a vehicle for running a Mission Street red light. The officer approaching officer spotted a sawed off shotgun on the vehicle’s floorboard next to the driver. 18 year old Brian Alexander Baires was arrested and booked into county jail for possession of a loaded unregistered illegally modified firearm.
