A North Monterey County resident was reappointed by Governor Schwarzenegger this week to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board. Royal Oaks resident, 55-year old William Jackson has served as a member since 2007 and from 1992 to 2001. He was a Director of Safety at Granite Construction since 1990, Assistant Safety Director from 1982 to 1990 and Safety Representative from 1979 to 1982. The republican is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, National Construction Safety Executives and the Safety and Health Committee of the Associated General Contractors of America.
