(09:35) Watsonville – The 23rd annual Peace and Unity March was held on Saturday in Watsonville. The event was created to combat gang violence. Attendees walked along the sidewalks around the gazebo at the Watsonville City Plaza. Parents of those who have lost children due to gang related crimes decorated the gazebo with pictures and flowers. Although Watsonville’s gang violence has decreased since the 1990’s gang violence is still an issue.
