(8:02) SANTA CRUZ- The upcoming Holiday season has Santa Cruz area law enforcement concerned over car burglaries. Car break-ins made up 42 percent of all theft crimes in Santa Cruz in 2014. Police say that most are impulse or crimes of opportunity, and are committed after a thief spots something of value in a vehicle. Authorities are reminding shoppers to keep valuables out of view, lock their car, and park in well lit areas.
