(08:26) MONTEREY – Crews will be removing the fountain at Custom House Plaza in Monterey this week. Work will begin Thursday and continue through mid-December. During demolition, the Lighthouse Tunnel will close in both directions overnight on Monday and Tuesday, November 16 and 17, between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. The public will still be able to access the plaza, the waterfront, and Fisherman’s wharf during the fountain removal.
