Governor Newsom was optimistic during his Monday Covid 19 address. The governor said the state has seen a 10 percent decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations in the past two weeks. Newsome then said outbreaks in the central valley need to be addressed, announcing that eight Central Valley counties would get extra funding to help lower infection rates.
