Scheduled to open in the spring of 2021, the ground has been broken on a Multi-Purpose Educational Center in Soledad. The 16,750-square foot Hartnell College facility is being built on a nearly 4-acre parcel at the northeast corner of Metz Road and Orchard Lane. About 95 percent of the center’s electrical needs will be met through solar panels, that will be installed on the facility.
